I’ll be back

I know it’s been too long since I last wrote, but I will be back regularly after January 2nd. We had a more chaotic Christmas than normal (and planned) and I’ll explain it all when I get back. With all the work to make Christmas happen, I really needed a long break to relax and reset my brain for the coming months as well as enjoy this last week with K before he heads out for the long haul. In the meantime, I want to thank everyone who has been coming by to read my ramblings. It means very much to me to have an audience. I also wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year. I hope 2010 is a satisfying and fulfilling year for all of us.

Rollercoaster days

I’m a little behind in my writing this week. K. and I were preparing for our last weekend away for a while so life got…well, nuts. Trying to fit in the regular events of the week along with babysitter interviewing, working with Monkey, and a myriad of other things like food shopping, bill paying, and meeting with teachers pretty much filled my days and nights. So I’m going to try to tackle what’s been going on in a few posts over the next couple of days so I don’t put everyone (including myself) to sleep with one gigantic post. You have been warned!

Admin note on Comments

Just wanted to let people know I changed the setting on having to register to comment. You should now be able to leave a comment without registering. Hopefully that will encourage people to participate when they feel the need, and I’m crossing my fingers WordPress has a handle on spam comments from the Russian contingent. I still will have to ok comments before they post, but I don’t usually let them sit, nor do I plan on editing any of them. Like I said, it’s more to keep the spam out than censor anyone. Also, I have set things up so you can rate posts. At the bottom of each individual post, you will see some stars. Click on them as a means to let me know you agree, disagree, love it, hate it, or whatever. While I don’t expect every entry I write to warrant a comment, if you feel like something has moved you to speak, please do. If you have questions, please ask them. I will answer them as honestly as I can.
